Alabama Weather Update

Thunderstorm activity has weakened over North Alabama during the past thirty minutes. The storm entering Pickens County from northern Tuscaloosa County is beginning to go slowly downhill, with the strongest part of the storm passing near and north of Gordo and heading toward Reform. It is still capable of producing brief heavy rain, dangerous lightning and strong gusty winds.

Elsewhere across North Alabama, A long line of showers and some embedded tunder extends from southern Blount County, across Jefferson County west of of I-59 into southern Tuscaloosa County.

Additional showers were over parts of Fayette County. These showes may blossom into storms soon.

Everywhere else, the evening's activity has diminished.
