The lightning show from that Walker county storm is quite impressive. We are in Marion county, and we have a great view of just tremendous amounts of lightning. No rain here though. I think my neighborhood is inside a dome or something.

Hey, heard the storm over toward Springville as we were getting ready to go out for dinner..right at time to go it blew in..just beat the rain. I had checked the radar and saw the path and knew we would stay ahead of it. Sure enough by the time we got to Gardendale at a wonderful buffet place called"Fire Mountain"..highly reccommend it! Sat down and finished my salad the thunder started..thankfully by the time dessert was under the belt the rain had diminished and the drive home was quiet! All the way home though much evidence of rain and wind. Reporting from my corner in Jefferson Cty, Blount and St. Clair. I sit in the triangle! Good evening one and all..
