Sorry that I was not able to get these posted as they were taken. Working conditions during a hurricane are not ideal - heck, they aren't even good.

I can't address is specifically, but from the address, I think it is fairly close to the intersection of 59 and 182. The damage became worse as you went west on 182 and seemed to be fairly bad by the time you reached the west end of the island. A new cut was made by the water between the Gulf and lagoon. Most of the damage I saw was from storm surge with isolated damage from the wind.

Any information on the area down toward Romar Beach/Orange Beach? I'm hoping the damage was less as you move east.

hey beth,

my father just came back from there. he had to take my grandmother home. he says there is very little damage to orange beach. just a few trees, lots of sand in the road, and there are still power outages in spots. not very many businesses were open, and it is hard to get gas because of that. there was some beach erosion. the further west you go (toward fort morgan, mobile) the worse it was.
