I know the jog to the NW was only a temporary but over time won't occassional NW jogs adjust the final long term track further and further east???? And won't there be a chance or rains coming up from the south or firing up along the boundary that seems to be along NW Alabama???? I remember in Katrina a lot of rain fired along an old boundary in the Tenn Valley and Ohio Valley as Katrina was coming in.

I'm watching ya'll from Jacksonville, TX. I used to live in Talladega and really like the coverage your doing on Hurricane Rita. I've been watching the web updates for info. Keep up the good work!

Do not be surprised if this thing makes a turn to the north. This forecast track is still 3 days out....
