I am VERY disappointed in my local news coverage. I live in Dallas county and WSFA channel 12 and WAKA channel 8 is NOT covering this! WHERE is Chris Baily or Rich Thomas? WHY ARE THEY NOT ON THE AIR COVERING THIS? I can't pick up James Spann. I'm having to scrounge and get all my info. online and listen to a live coverage on radio which is breaking up on me bc it's not in my immediate listening area.

I tried to email WSFA to tell them to cover it or at least tell them how disappointed I am, but you have to register...

TUSCALOOSA still not safe....MULTIPLE reports of funnel clouds in and around Tuscaloosa.

No warnings in the Montgomery market... that's why there is no coverage.

Please tell James to stop apologizing for being on the air. The weather has been PRIME TIME the past month or so. Hats off to great coverage guys! Keep up the good work.

I thought it was awesome coverage and it showed the excitement of the moment! The fact that there was an excitable word used just shows that they are 'real people' too....(but i'm sure the hypocrites in this state that 'never' say those kind of words will try to cause CRAP...)

I'm sure that 33/40 is going to work something out. Maybe ABC can postpone the season premiere a week if push comes to shove.

I still can't understand why 33/40 doesn't work something out with ABC, since they've had this policy so long.

I wonder Why they cannot just tape the live version and just play it delayed....then catch up later on in the night. Just like they do after a ball game, they never know exactly when the game will be over.

Another SUPERB job gentlemen! Again you all were THE only station to have "wall to wall" coverage the WHOLE time. We are lucky & fortunate to have a news station that has a policy like this and gives a darn. My hat off to you James & John. Excellant coverage to have so much going on at one time and to be able to prioritize.

Great Job Guys! I wonder how this Tornado that was caught on the Towerlink will be rated in the F-Scale. To me it looked like a F1-F2 Range, but I'm not a trained person like the NWS. But you would thiink that since there was damaga and people was hurt that it could very well be at least on the upper end of a F1. What does everyone think?
