Rising Temperatures

After falling quickly after sunset into the 20s and 30s overnight, temperature have bounced back early this morning. At 6 am:

Muscle Shoals 38 with light rain
Huntsville 39 with rain
Fort Payne 39 cloudy
Birmingham 48 cloudy
Tuscaloosa 50 cloudy

So far, have not heard any reports of a little sleet mixed in with the rain and temperatures are rising.

The weather will get more active over the weekend, so stay tuned.

Good morning to you as I sit here and enjoy my coffee. It was cool this morning around 0330. It was definately warmer than when I went to bed (10:30). But there was a brisk little wind blowing when we got out which made it worse. Have a great day. We will keep our eyes to the sky.

I dropped to 25.4° in the wee morning hours before climbing to 39.2° at 0630. Then the rain hit and dropped it quickly to 35.4°, but I saw no sleet or snow mixed in.

Morning!! A cup of Joe sounds good!! Keeping an eye on things here in Alabaster - no sleet, maybe a little light rain. For anyone who has forgotten and lives in Alabaster, the Christmas Parade is at 10 am - it is usually pretty good - but wanted to remind everyone in case they are out and about - traffic usually becomes gridlocked during this time. have a great day all -

I made it down to 29.8 before rebounding to the 0720 temp of 46.7. Dewpoint is a little slow to come up though.

OH yes, The Alabaster parade. I'll be there as one of 2 members of the Helena Fire Dept. :)

Also the Helena Christmas parade is today at 2:00pm.

Hope the rain holds off.

It was 33 when I went to bed here in Jacksonville, and 43 when I woke up at 7:00. Just some rain, and it looks like we've got just a little more coming.

I missed all the parades around here, due to them ALL being on the same night. Somebody needs to straighten that out.
