The Storms Rumble Along

At 7:10 pm, some of the stronger thunderstorms were over St. Clair and NE Shelby County. The NWS has reports of:

...Pea size hail in Leeds.
...Pea size to dime size hail in Brompton on I-20 in St. Clair County.

Some of the stronger storms with heaviest rain now along the St. Clair-Calhoun County line.

Moving east.

No warnings in effect.

The Severe Thunderstorm Watch was cancelled early.

Much cooler air cover much of North and Central Alabama.

Will post some rainfall amounts later.

I havnt really looked over the latest gfs run yet, but you know I will... But as of earlier today, the gfs was supressing the really cold air north a bit..Dont get me wrong, its going to be cold, but I believe the numbers we were thinking about a couple of days ago are too low.... I think 40's 20's sounds good for now... but I will post here in a bit after I look at some of the model runs.. I really want to know what the Euro models are showing... I have a few links for them , but not the same that James has been using.....Hint hint hint.... HELLO WEATHER MAN.. could you help a brother out.... I know the first step of IWIWAM is being able to admit it, and I have , but im in a weakend state, and need a booste...... And Steph, it was nice to read from you today...I can pic you now, if you didnt have that hurt back...dancing away....
