We miss out completely... And the storm comes in here early....

Here is later in the week...we start to get the cold air in here, but the moisture is supressed ....

And then the cold air retreats... as the week goes on...As temperatures begin to moderate

Even moderating thru Christmas Eve:

And for Christmas day????? We may have a storm comming thru here and the 540 line is all the way up , nearly into Canada..The furthest south it goes is to the WV OHIO RI area.... So Santa Isnt going to be feeling to much at home here on Christmas..... Oh well ...Lets load up in the Storm Chaser and head to the Mountains.... Does that thing have Chains?????

Oh boy...This is just one run , well actually two , including the 12 z that has done this.... Maybe it is out to lunch... we can still hope, and wish...I wonder if James was testing his bloggers , Just to see if we would be able to Mobilize fast enough...Kinda a Drill....... Well James, Bloggers Mobilized and ready...

So what if we don't get snow next week. It's not really the best scenario anyway. Too many people with too many plans. Some holiday plans are very important. Let's go for January. If it happens next week, great so long as no one is hurt.
Stephanie, thanks for remembering me in the dance. I'm not a public person, so my dance will be with just family, but the spirit and energy will be there.
In the meantime, has anyone payed attention to the posts about the musicians of the gulf coast?
It's very important, please consider.

travel plans ARE next week arent they?? WOW, how the time flies - my family will be here next week and I am just giddy with the same excitement as a child awaiting Santa Claus! I havent seen them since Elijah was a tiny colicky baby and can't wait for them to see how much he has changed. Susan - your spirit and energy are most welcome in the snowflake dance of the bloggers, and we need all the help we can get when the right time comes :-P

James, this is a threat! If one of these snow teases does not pan out in the near future,I am finding your house and stealing all your suspenders.Just ask Mike Royer about the time he had to go out and replace his bowtie collection
