How Quickly Things Change

A big warmup for wide areas of the USA today.

So, much so, look at this stat:

At 4 o'clock this afternoon only 1/2 of one percent of the land area in the Lower 48 States had temperatures freezing or lower.

Not too long ago that percentage was around 67.

At 4pm, the lowest in the country was 25 at Frenchville, Maine and the warmest was 82 at Wink, Texas.

Late this afternoon, 65 degree warmth had reached as far north as Western Kansas and Extreme SE Colorado.

I feel sure they are dancing in the streets!

what do you mets. think of the new 18 z runs? looks like the ULL track is shifting a good bit further south. whats your thinking now and what is it if the trend continues to push it further south. upper level low, weathermans foe.

Be careful out there on your bike!! I grew up on Harleys and have no desire to ride as an adult! My dad owned Ft Walton Cycle Shop when I was a child. (built custom bikes before it was cool :) ) Have a Merry Christmas everyone :)

the new 00z is out and man does it look good for snowlovers. the ULL has shifted even further south ( http://www.talkweather.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30179&postdays=0&p
ostorder=asc&start=120
). i believe someone will get a nice band of snow with this system. look out east central AL. on x-mas evening. hopefully further runs verify and SOMEBODY sees this and mentions it.
