A Historic Day in New York City

They say that records are made to be broken.

Well, in New York City, a huge record was broken today and a new one established.

By 4:10 this afternoon, the current snowstorm had dumped 27 inches (26.9 to be exact) of snow on the Big Apple.

This is a new record for all time.

The previous record had stood since December 26-27, 1947, when they got 26.4 inches.

Wow!
History in the making, but I'm sure they wish for less snow in New York.
I wish we had gotten here what some areas did within twenty miles.
The pictures are beautiful....

Looking at the latest Radar , we should have some areas see a few more snow showers, but nothing to really get excited about....

Thanks, J.B.,

As bad as I felt last night and this a.m., I'm feeling a lot better this afternoon. I hope that continues.

I appreciate those of you who said a prayer for me.

Hey CJ , just enjoy & relax with the calm of nature while its here . It doesn't have to be hustle & bustle all the time . To me , that is for tornado & hurricane season . And I will admit I am now ready for the 60's & 70's temps. now . Espically for my sinuses , they do not like cold wx.
