From Gatlinburg...

Thanks to blog reader Larry Mason for these pictures... Larry says:

"Just got back this afternoon…it started snowing late Friday night and was still snowing this morning. Total storm total where I stayed was about 10”. I looked at the smoky reports..they showed 7” at Sugarland (I’ve noticed in the past that their ruler must be broken). It was a fantastic trip."

Here's hoping it will be like that this next weekend. That would make for EPIC ski conditions this weekend.

Morning All Great pics. I'm headed up that way this Friday. Hope it does some more. I believe someone said on here last weeks storm would be remembered as " Winter Storm 2006 ". I think they picked that one. Maybe this weekend will be a close second.. ( BUT NO ICE )!!!!

We go to the Smokey's every year around Christmas.
Thanksgiving 2004, it started snowing in Chattanooga and by the time we got to Knoxville, we saw lots of snow!
The next morning we went into Gatlinburg and this area where these pictures were taken was beautifule. Just enough snow to make it a fun time at Thanksgiving
