JB...thought you would like to know that we've been getting hit pretty hard in Layton. We've had about 18" since last Thursday at our house. The last three storms have dropped 6" apiece. The commute to work in SLC this morning took me over 2 hours...I don't think the road crews were ready for the amount of snow that fell in just a few hours.

Hey Goldwing, I was going to tell you that it was not weather related (LOL), but since you stuck in RAIN, I guess I will let it slide, but I have to question the other post you made. (Hope you know I am doing this in joking manner and not to be taken for real)

Hey Goldwing I think the plants will be fine the temperature did not stay down long enough to hurt anything that bad. When I left for work today the plants around the house looked fine.

Mr Mills, Know that you can put plants out in March and always cover them if we experience a frost/snow in April. I don't know about you, but that is what I did in the Blizzard of 93 with some impatients and believe it or not we covered them it was the most beautiful bloom of impatients that I have ever experienced. All you have to do is just put a paper/plastic bag over them and it will protect the frost/snow/ice whatever. So it really does not matter if we get a frost or not, they will be protected. No need to wait

Hey CC I know you can cover the plants up if you recall we had thunder in back in Febuary. And the old saying is if it thunders in Febuary it will frost in April. And there is onther old saying plant your garden on or after good Friday. I just think it's a good idea to wait untill the chance of a freeze is over. I don't think that will be untill early April I might be wrong, but I think I will wait just a little longer.
