Browser Wars

If you are using Internet Explorer, then you are having to scroll down to see the most recent posts here on the blog. It is all related to the size of Brian's pictures posted last night (about the Cheaha SkyCam installation). Not Brian' fault, but a problem with IE.

Internet Explorer isn't rendering the page correctly; all of us using Firefox are not having problems. We will get Brian to adjust the size of his images in his post and everything will be back to normal for Internet Explorer users.

I strongly recommend Firefox... I have not used Internet Explorer for any serious web use in over one year. Once you understand the power of Firefox, it is hard going back!

Firefox is a free download:

I had the same problem with my personal blog when I poseted images or text that was too wide. I may have to try Firefox. Thanks for the info!

Firefox is the only way to go.

Some people out there incorrectly believe that since Firefox is free, it is loaded with spyware and other "ugh-knowns," which is simply not the case!

In my opinion, Firefox is probably what Netscape could have been if Netscape had bothered to keep up with the times.

Everyone is wondering about Firefox. I have used Firefox for a very long time now. It just takes the place of IE. You do not have to delete anything, it just acts and looks like IE. It is basically just like IE just with a built in Pop-up blocker. John, Firefox does not have to take the place of Earthlink at all. However, if I understand everything right, Earthlink is just a service and a browser, you can us firefox w/ your Earthlink service. You may not be able to use certain things with the firefox browser than an Earthlink browser, b/c Earthlink has a special ISP browser, but you can use what ever browser you like.

Amen! I hate any products from Micro$oft. Glad to know you're using FireFox. (of course I don't even have the option to use IE b/c I have Linux)

Anyway, yeah.. I think you used OS/2 warp at some time way in the past too. Remember those days? James the rebel! hehe

I've been using OPERA for years, and I love it...especially the mouse-based navigation.. the new version is free! (it used to be adware) ..try it out!
