So what do you want to be when you grow up?

I sure get the idea that Brian Peters and Jason Simpson have an idea! Thanks to our friend Mike McCormick for this picture of Brian and Jason in their new role with the Hollis Cross Roads Fire Department!

Oh yeah! We got to ride in the truck, blow the horn, everything. A little tidbit you might not know about Brian is that he used to be a volunteer firefighter in Tennessee. Saaaaaaaaa-lute!

Did we blow the siren? YES. The Chief was driving so we didn't get into trouble.

Volunteer? Yes, I was a volunteer with the Bartlett, TN, Fire Department for a number of years during our time in the Memphis office of the NWS.

Will I ever grow up? I hope not! And now that I'm older I'm getting feistier and feistier!!

Fire truck colors? I actually like the Hollis Fire Department colors. They've used it in their building, too. The orange does make them stand out.
