From Kuwait

Being out of town, needless to say I am way behind on e-mail. But, this one sure got my attention.... It is from some of those brave folks who are serving our country on the other side of the world.

How are you doing? It is starting to warm up here in Kuwait, It is a cool 120 this morning with a hint of saltwater because the wind is blowing from the gulf which is only a few miles the way the camels run.I just wanted to say hello to all of yall at 33/40 and everyone back home.We miss yall I am sending you some pictures of or HQ at CAMP FUJIMO,and a pretty sunset.  The picture is of me Wyatt Harmon and Matt Tohmas my battle buddy.The picture of the sunset is just north of here in Iraq.Thanks.

This would be the "married with a kid" friend of Derek's aka "Romeo." I had looked at these pictures yesterday and emailed my husband about them. He is currently in Kuwait as a civilian for the Anniston Army Depot. Turns out those were from his friends that live next to him. He said his place is right next to one of the pictures they took. Small world.
