Active Weather Over North Mississippi

A storm shows very nice rotation now near Batesville, Mississippi, and tornado warnings are up for Desoto and Tunica counties, south of Memphis.

Seems like that storm is on the warm front... the front extends into north Alabama so we will need to keep an eye on it.

Beginning to look like the greatest risk of severe storms tonight will come from 6:00 until midnight... maybe even 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. over the far eastern counties of the state.

Oh good gravy James. I just hooked up my computer again here at the trailer and now your telling me and Curtis that tornadas IS coming after all. I dont know what to do now. I just started supper but I guess its like the old commercal about crisco cause I can just leave the chicken in the pan and it wont soak up all that oil if we need to go back on to the club house. Maybe I can get it cooked and we can just carry our food with us if we go. I sure wish ya'll would get the weather straight. One minute its no tornadas only hale and the next minute ya'll are telling us ones in DeSoto and heading towards Walker. I swan to glory.

I think it would be a good chance everyone gets some action. And with the storms rotations over northern Mississippi, me need to watch em, cause if they rotate there, they will rotate here most likely, so the tornado threat has diminished, but it isnt gone.

James NEVER said the tornado threat was over, he just said the conditions are more favorable for hail, but we can rule or the possibility for tonados
