A Nice Getaway

What a nice getaway this week... I am spending some time in the mountains of North Carolina (the far western part of the state). Beautiful weather, great scenery. We are staying at the Inn at Biltmore; on the grounds of the Biltmore Estate, near Asheville.

Always love the Biltmore Estate. As a little girl had a Uncle who worked for the Vanderbilt Family in the Dairy that they had. He lived in one of the houses on the on the estate, it is now a bed and breakfast, for estate exec.'s. Still have loads of family in the area and visit there as often as I can and I have many wonderful memories of the area. James while you are there you have GOT to go to sliding rock it is in the Brevard area. Very easy to find, just ask the local's they now how to get there!!!

Man! those are beautiful. Never heard of that place. My wife would LOVE it!
