Saturday Video Update

Put a short video update on the site. Changes occurring so rapidly it's probably best to try to stay current with other sources.

New Tornado Watch in MS and LA. Just a matter of time before that dew point discontinuity moves far enough north to begin affecting central Alabama.

Another round of thunderstorms/severe weather likely tomorrow. Review your safety plans now.

Ron, where do you live? I will be praying for you... definately later tonight. If you are in northern or central Alabama, you have nothing to be afraid of; the weather hasn't reach our area yet (I live in Tuscaloosa County; Northport) but if you live in southern Alabama, then you need to keep an eye out. Do you have a basement and if not do you have a sever weather plan? These are questions you need to ask yourself; its okay to be scared of weather, but you also must stay safe. Praying for you and keepin an eye on the sky James and the crew

Ron, I know this doesn't help, but you aren't the only one who is scared. At least my husband doesn't have to work today and tomorrow. Where do you live? I'm in Southern Etowah County. Carol

Thanks you guys. It is comforting to know folks still care in this old wicked world. I am at work and my co-workers are trying to comfort me. They are really swell guys. They really care about me and respect my fear of storms. They will keep their eye on the sky for me since I'm scared to go outside.Peace to all. Ron out.

Its going to be ok Ron. You need not be afraid. Just be prepared for the worst and keep your head down. I am an old combat medic and I know how to survive. STAY INFORMED!
