As storms approach the area: in T-Town right now it is raining lightly with the occasional lightning flash and rumble of thunder... it is also extremely humid and the dew point is rising which really concerns me. Everyone be safe and I'll be praying for EVERYONE in Alabama including you James and the ABC 33/40 weather crew.

Lightening is getting more intense now in T-Town and thunder is rattling the house. Light rain with EXTREMELY humid air in place. I'm getting worried and I'll post again in a little while. Praying for all in Alabama tonight and keeping an eye on the sky here in T-Town. Thanks for all your hard work James and the crew!

Hi Folks
Watching an update from James as we speak. Stay on top of it guys!

I would've thought these storms would have decreased in intensity since they lost the day time heat effect.

We had a pretty good line coming at us from the southwest earlier, but it lost it's punch before it got here. This happens alot around Tuscaloosa.
It did have some pretty cloud to cloud lightning and
a little rain but that was it when it arrived here.

Got my eye on the sky and 33/40,

JB in T-Town

JB, where in T-Town do you live? I live in Northport, actually, up Highway 43. What conditions are you experiencing right now. I am getting light-moderate rain with a northerly wind.
