That line of thunderstorms that has been moving SE across Tennessee and North Mississippi was moving across NW Alabama late tonight.
At 10:35 pm, the line extended from near Russellville to Decatur. Moving SE with much lightning, gusty winds and heavy rain.
This line of storms will be in Hamilton, Moulton and Huntsville soon.
When the storms moved by Muscle ShoalsAirport, they got about 1/2 inch of rain between 9 an 10pm.
The storms are gradually decreasing in strength. Lightning detection equipment shows a decrease also, although they are plenty strong.
For a time the NWS Huntsville had Colbert and Lauderdale County under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning.
