Some Late Notes

A few short notes...

The Tornado Warning for SE Tuscaloosa expired at 3:45 pm as the parent thunderstorm moved up into SW Jefferson County and weakened. Don't know of a confirmed touchdown. This one came across Eutaw in Greene County and noved across NW and Extreme North Hale County before moving into South Tuscaloosa County.

Funnel cloud and nickel size hail SW of Moundville

Dime size hail in Moundville according to Moundville Police.

Trees down in Eutaw

Now what?

It's not over.

Flash Flood Watch has been extended to last all night.
Tornado Watch for South half of Alabama until 7.

I count at least 14 Mississippi Counties now under a tornado warning. We will have another round of storms to deal with well into the night.

Looks a long line of singular supercell storms in Miss. Not something you see often. Usually the line is connected, these are all alone in a line. For example the top storm nearing Pickens Co. I would say they storm the made it to Jefferson and died got us into the warm sector. Could be interesting tonight but I hope not like it was in Miss.

I stand corrected on Pickens.....that and Lamar and Sumter are all Severe Thunderstorm Warnings. I had read above where someone said Tornado Warning.

I live in Tuscaloosa and live in a mobile home. I am at my parents right now. After this line comes through who thinks it will be safe if I go home?

A.J., Since you live in a mobile home, you may want to NOT go home until you are no longer under a tornado watch. That is what I would do.
