A Fatality in Mississippi

At 5:25 this afternoon, during a period of very heavy rain in the Jackson area, a tree or large tree limb came down on Maple Street in NW Jackson.

It struck a man and killed him.

ONCE AGAIN the SPC has busted big time!!! I wander what they are smoking out there???? they have made a mockery out of forecasting. Will be very interested to see who takes the places of these people when they retire (or get fired)??

Justin...When the SPC issues a probability of severe weather....that does not mean every city or every county will get hit with a tornado. It means the ingredient are all in place for severe weather. Ask the people in west central Mississippi or southern Mississippi if their prediction was a bust.

It was a bust in Miss. Not one report of a tornado.

And thank God for that! I'm sure all of the residents of Mississippi are all quite happy for that.
