These pictures are from our good friend Rufus T. Raspberry, from the Country Morning Crew on WTDR-FM, Thunder 92-7 in Anniston/Oxford. He writes:

James I took the attached pictures this past weekend in the smokies. The best color this past week seemed to be at about 5000 feet elevation. Also a picture of a good frost on Saturday morning temp was 28 at 7:00 am.

That sure does look like Valley View Lodge in Townsend! My wife and I have stayed there a few times and since we moved to TX a couple years ago we sure do miss the smokies! Love those pictures! Thanks for sharing

The wagon is in front of the Valley View you are right. The frost picture is at the Talley Ho Inn.
Sure was nice there this weekend hope you get back there soon.
