May 22 Web Video Update

The web video update is on the server this morning. Got to get ready to head out to Bruno's Memorial Classic today for a meet and greet session. If you are out there this afternoon, be sure to stop by the 3340 tent near the 18th green.

Clouds from the thunderstorms northwest of Memphis are going to put a crimp in the highs this afternoon. Okay with me - I don't mind clipping off a few degrees. I was complaining about a week ago about jumping from the upper 70s straight to 90, so knocking off a few degrees is nice - even if it does impact the forecast a bit.

Pattern over the next few days keeps us in a northwesterly flow pattern. Cold front moves through on Monday bringing a chance of rain but QPF guidance suggests not much rain. With a 5 inch deficit, we could use a good soaker, but it doesn't look like we'll have that kind of rain any time soon.

Another cold front around Thursday or early Friday will give us another shot at some rain, but once again, projections don't call for much.

Gotta run for now. Speaking at DARE graduation tomorrow, so work week gets off to a quick start.

HI i was wondering if there is a threat for tornadoes Monday along with the severe weather threat? I hope that it doesnt get too stormy around here.

I was ust praying that this afternoon and early evenung will be dry or not to stormy this is my daughters graduation day at 6:30 P.M (35214) shes worked hard for this after failing last year and graduating with the most improved student at Hillview this year .Please send us some good news if not well we wont let a severve t-storm get us down. We are not from Alabama so all this sever t-storms and torando watches scare me to death. Salt Lake you just worry about snow caving your roofs in (smile) Have a Great day Barbara
