Final Friday night thoughts...
I still think guidance is too warm next week. GFS MOS products could be 10 degrees too warm on Tuesday and Wednesday; I learned years ago not to get suckered into following the GFS MOS products blindly during a pattern change.
I would imagine a number of places in north Alabama will hold in the 30s all day Tuesday. Same deal Friday and Saturday, December 17-18. Very cold. A few flurries are possible then, but no strong evidence of any snow or ice threat at this time.
Snow fans will be encouraged the 18Z run of the GFS today has a nice Gulf storm around December 22. Very interesting.
Have a nice weekend!
