Wind Damage – Jefferson County

| 10:38 pm January 29, 2008 | Comments (0)

Thanks to David Summerlin for these images… he writes:

“Thought you and the others at AlabamaWX might be interested in this. A strong gust of wind hit Mt. Olive (near Gardendale) around 9:15PM this evening. The wind knocked down a large tree in our yard. Fortunately, it fell in such a way that it landed between a storage building and our yard. It still ripped the porch off of the storage building, crushed a swingset, and grazed our roof. We were fortunate, though.”
