For the ones that have never attended or its been a while and you are really interested in weather this should be a mandatory go see thing . And its really fun also !

  2. Mike Wilhelm says:

That’s right John…And if you have kids, you “owe” it to them. It was a great experience that my kids loved. They want me to drive them to Jasper next week!

  3. John Talbot says:

OH definatelly take the kids !!

  4. I was deeply honored to meet Brian (and J.B.) last October at Mt Cheaha state park (Talkweather picnic), but haven’t had the honor of meeting James and the rest of the ABC 33/40 weather team yet. Hopefully that’ll change in a couple weeks; I have my calender marked for February 22nd, when I plan to attend the Storm Alert 2007 in Jacksonville, Alabama (and encourage other folks fascinated by storms & weather in eastern Alabama and west Georgia to do the same :)

  5. John Talbot says:

They are true down to earth and very approachable people . Excellant personalities and since of humor. Go shake a hand with them .

  6. Randall W. says:

I sure do wish they could extend their tour to include the Gardendale/Fultondale area.

My entire family enjoyed the show Thursday night. I’ll admit that at first, I was the one looking forward to it the most at first but when it was over, everyone had truly enjoyed it. My two daughters ages 7 and 4 are still talking about it. My 4 year old saw Jason talk about the show being in Jasper this Thursday and wanted to know if we were going to go because she wanted to see it again. She thinks that James Spann is the only person who should ever be on TV with the weather and had to have her picture made with him the other night. The only thing that kind of caught me off guard Thursday night was being called up on stage with James and the other 3 superb meteorologists but I felt honored and my girls are proud of me and have told the whole world. The youngest one has been looking for me to be on TV with him. She can’t understand that that wasn’t, I don’t think, recorded for TV. What a time for me not to have a video camera. Talk to everyone later!!
